Alberts cards probably have their symbols and numbers engraved into them so he can feel them like blind people do. You can see him swiping over the center of each card whenever he is not sure what card it exactly is

@Orodon Kassa Nah, I don't think so. That would be easily noticeable by the audience, so a failed magic device. I think him rubbing the card is just flair, and the trick lies elsewhere. edit: of course maybe the deck is specific for situations the audience can't touch the card, that would explain it all. He rubs his thumb on the lower circle when picking the card to feel it, and at the start he held them in the middle to show the backs are all the same instead of shuffling through them normally.

A) I'm not sure but maybe he had custom cards made with the front markings a little raised so that you can read it with your hand like braille. I have seen a custom card for blind people that had special braille marks in the top corner.

They're using FTB Infinity Evolved. The new weapons are from Tinkers Construct which is a great tool making mod. Don't know where the armours from though.
