One of my favourites (top 3) that I was listening to almost everyday for 6 months before joining as member . Was listening to Sparkle's singing versions until one day YT recommended your version. Emotional movie for me to see 2 people searching for each other and that one was destined to die (and the village as well) if not for a second chance given by the cosmic event. I guess one can read it as given a second chance in life by a higher power.

This interpretation of Sparkle is absolutely fantastic. It touched my heart and reminded me of that beautiful, dramatic and romantic movie "Your Name" once again. From the technical parts of this performance up to the final product, I was completely amazed. Shifting of melody from left hand to right hand was amazing and the improvisation on the last part was quite good. Despite the difficulty of her arrangement, the melody, broken chords, arpeggios, transitions, embellishments and everything else were played in a fluid and harmonious manner. The control of dynamics was there too. Amazing indeed! Great work!

Every time I hear this song, it sounds special and different. Wondered why. Then I realised it is because usually, the left hand plays the repeated chords, but in this song, many parts of this repetition is done by the right hand, while the left hand plays the traditional "treble" part of the song.
