After seeing this tutorial I finally understand the function of contouring. As a painter, watching her erase all the shadows on her face with foundation and concealer was cringy but then seeing her add them all back with a darker value makes total sense. When my children were little one Christmas vacation they would not leave me alone for one minute. I couldn't catch a moment of privacy even in the bathroom. So I hid in my closet for 15 minutes. They do grow fast so enjoy this stage even if it is a bit hectic. I really miss cuddling with my children and reading them stories.

Being a flight attendant in my former life before I had my son we are taught to first put on our oxygen mask then assist your child, but he was 10 before I realized that I needed to do something that was strictly for myself. By this time my body was extremely exhausted, and I felt mentally overwhelmed. It is alright to take a moment and just breathe, and do something for yourself.
