I love how with Vic & Mela it's easier to hear their characters actual voices in them but with Ethan (or how I'm used to calling him Ezra) it's a lot harder to hear Kaname in his voice. :3 It's interesting

[cont.] but in the last episodes I think her Yuki was at its best, so that what was probably her best points. But overall this english dub was worth the wait! All the other voice actors/actresses did a very splendid job! i throughly enjoyed it all the way with all 13 episodes, and I did watch the japanese version before this. so overall this was a beautiful english dub and i look forward to the second season being dubbed. :]

Ethan Murray probably had the best performance out of the 3 in the Vampire Knight english dub. His voice fits Kaname so well, and his emotions were always on the top of things. What amazed me the most was that when I saw the first episode he was already right into character. Now Vic would probably be second best. I loved his performance as Zero, and I know he tried his best to get his voice just right, but at points he does go a little bit off Zero voice. Also I think he... [cont.]

@@Wonweina if you're asking why he's terrible (most of the VK cast is honestly) it's because he's controlling, he controls every move Yuki makes well almost, then again she lets him. He treats her like a child even though he says he's not and it's for her protection but he literally does treat her like a child saying she doesn't need to know anything and saying good girl when she obeys him like she's his property. When he gets mad and harasses Zero or something that upsets Yuki he has this "you made me do it" vibe. he even told her once "it's because you made me do it" No dude she didn't. Also he gets so jealous and petty that Zero likes her it almost comes off like a controlling boyfriend that won't let her around anyone. When she was younger she didnt have any friends because Kaname would scare them off of he didn't like them

[cont.] doesn't quite capture Ichiru for me, not holding it against him he definitely captured Ichiru's emotions with his past but I think it's voice wise that I didn't really like. Mela is last out of the three. Personally I'm not against her since I loved her Shinku in Rozen Maiden, however, to me she doesn't really fit Yuki. I think that if she would take her young Yuki voice and mature it just a LITTLE BIT that would fit Yuki better. Also i think at times the emotions were really off [cont.]

I feel like they could have hired someone else to play Ichiru instead of having Vic play both. I think it's stupid when they do that. It was a good performance but give him someone else to work off of to make their scenes more emotional. I love Mela but I agree, her Yuki voice wasn't doing it for me. Maybe she could have matured teenage yuki, though I do understand that in real life there are people who sound younger or older than they really are so I can't fault them.
