What a great parenting! I was a trained preschool teacher and during my time teaching I found so many parents that were basically clueless on how to “communicate properly” with their children. You in the other hand, always listen and reason well with Sutan without using the “You’re a kid, so you can’t do this” card. I really enjoyed the video! Can’t wait to make the curry btw ;)

Just made this for dinner tonight and it was a success! So delicious! I added a spoonful of powdered coconut milk, used soy sauce instead of worcestershire, and instead of veg juice I julienne cut a small apple, still turned out amazing! Family loved it, chicken breast always tastes good. Thanks for the recipe as always Moe and Sutan!

I can't believe I just made Japanese curry from scratch! I used to make katsu curry using store bought roux but it's not always available from where I live. One of my most favourite things: Curry! 😋 My grandpa and grandma were both Indian, so I grew up eating their range of curries they'd come up with. It was good, authentic curry that he'd cook for hours in a massive pot for our entire family when we'd visit every weekend. Sadly, both my grandpa and grandma are no longer around, so there's no more of the awesome curries they'd make for us to enjoy! Watching both you and Sutan (she's super adorable!) cook together is the best thing ever! You truly are a superb mum who's raised a fantastic daughter who enjoys everything that you do!

I'll definitely try this curry recipe. It seems lighter than curries I've seen from other countries. One thing I won't find in my region is shiso leaves, but I'd replace them with spinach, at least to get something green into the filling. Katsu curry is an absolute favorite of mine! Combines my favorite tonkatsu or chicken katsu and Japanese curry into one. At least it's easy to make as there are no restaurants near me that make it.

So yummy ❤️‍🔥 Be careful with leaving the handle of the pan on the edge of the stove, Sutan might grab it and the hot food will spill on her. Little lady is so curious and smart, I wouldn't be surprised if she has already been told to never grab the handle. You are wonderful parents!

Yummy! I usually use curry roux cubes so it is neat to see how to do it without - my husband loves Japanese curry so we will definitely try. The shiso and cheese (yes, we have cheese shaped like that in Canada) inside the chicken katsu is so clever and sounds so delicious!
