To go to secret places not listed in tourist guides or to experience more of the local area, you need a local to guide you. This video will take you on a journey completely different from the typical Japan trip you've ever had. This year we spent our family summer vacation in Naruto, Tokushima, Japan, and an old friend of Moto's guided us around for four days, and we had a great time. We went to an udon restaurant with no tourists and visited a farmhouse that has been in existence for over 100 years. It's really nice that we live in a world where filming memories is already easy. Memories may come and go and the mind be fickle in what it remembers, but having solid copies like films really do help. Sometimes I find myself forgetting a lot of things and sometimes I stumble upon one of the old few photos of my childhood and it's just such a fascinating experience every time. Things like seeing an old pic with my grandma for an event I barely remember, hilarious old photos of my parents from times before me and such, just amaze me.

Iro-Chan was such a big sister to Sutan. Loved seeing them playing together and bonding. What an amazing experience for both of them as kids. Sutan looked so cute in her outfit too 😍. I am such a fashionista too. I am always looking at home outfits, going out outfits. I love all the different looks. To dress for different environments, and weather lol. The green lily pads, they have them in South America, and different parts of Asia. We use them as plates, we eat out of them, but making sure we use clean Lilly pads. I think it's China or some part in Asia they use the green Stems of the Lilly pad to make a special and very expensive type of Silk. It's quite beautiful the Silk made of of those stems.

8:08 -- OMG. I haven't seen that type of a calculator in years. It is what we in America called an abacus. An abacus is used just like a regular battery or electronically operated calculator it is used to add up sums and figures. However we here, in America, have not use an "abacus" (pronounced Ah by CUSS) for business or personal computational work probably in more than 100 years. It is really interesting to see someone using it in the modern era. Very eye-opening.

Of course, the larger famous cities are wonderful, too but there is something so incredible about the food in these smaller towns. Local food is wonderful and not available in Tokyo. Especially fruits and vegetables have very different characteristics in each region, and I am just amazed at the diversity of the region. Udon noodles look delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming in a style that hasn't changed since the Showa period. On the contrary, it may become popular among foreigners. It is a rare experience. I am Japanese, but I am beginning to wonder about the food in other regions. Thank you for the wonderful video.
