This song really makes you think. Last year was the toughest year of my life. On the 26th of August 2021 my mum passed away, and I'm only 13. My dad has nothing to do with me, and I had to move a very long way away, start a new life, and the one person who stood by my side through the whole thing was my girlfriend. My mum always said "There's no point finding love at such a young age, it won't last". Well it's nearly been a year and me and her are still going, even though I live a few hours away. The whole point of this is to put into perspective how life can change by the flip of a coin. But also that when you go through some of the shittiest times in your life, you really do find your true friends. I love you Sadie. And guys, thank you for reading this. I've started doing my own help-group called 'Lost but not forgotten' which is to help bereaved teenagers with experiences of loss, whether that's grandparents or pets, parents or best friends. We have quite a few members, and are still growing. This song really makes me think about my life. It makes me look back at all the good things, but also the bad things. But most importantly, the people that got me through everything. I was in a really bad place for the past year, when I really liked these two girls, who ended up dating my best friends. I was really messed up for a while. Then I met a girl that was great, we dated for 4 months, and last week she broke up with me. My closest friends helped me get through, I give my greatest thankfulness to them.
