Is star topology possible and if yes, should terminating resistor jumper be used on all KC868-HAV2 devices?

not use by "star" mode, it's RS485 bus, need "hand by hand". only use resistor jumper at last KC868-HAv2 board.

I want to test you product. But i dont know which if any can tack in sensor data and send it to HA ?

any dry contact sensor signal will feedback to home assistant via RS485.

@@KinCony okej. I am IT guy not in deep technically knowledge about electric. So I kind of umderstand. But can you perhaps explane what dry contact and point me to right direction what works and what dissent? For exempel I want use a "in wall tutchscreen sonoff NSpanal" an thinking about if it possible to redirect communication signal through your PCB to to HA when wifi going down. If this can be complices we going to have a Breakthrough. Hope you understand me here. Need to know the limits what can be done with PCB RS485. I believe I need to reprogram the panel some how. But one thing forst. Really a fan of your builds.

digital input with GND means trigger. dry contact signal just OPEN/CLOSE signal, without any voltage.@
