We sat transfixed in the movie theater following the movie while this song played during the closing credits. Not a soul in the whole theater stirred. What a beautiful song to close an amazing movie.

Kindness - Paul Cardall (Isaiah 54:7-13) For a little while have I forsaken thee But with great mercies will I gather thee In a little wrath I hid my face from thee For a moment… But with everlasting kindness will I gather thee And with mercy will I take thee ‘neath my wings For the mountains shall depart and the hills shall be removed and the valleys shall be lost beneath the sea but know, my child, my kindness shall not depart from thee Though thine afflictions seem at times too great to bear I know thine every thought and every care And though the very jaws of hell gape after thee I am with thee And with everlasting mercy will I succor thee And with healing will I take thee ‘neath my wings For the mountains shall depart and the hills shall be removed and the valleys shall be lost beneath the sea, know, my child, my kindness shall not depart from thee How long call rolling waters remain impure? What power shall stay the hand of God? The son of man hath descended below all things Art though greater than He? So hold on thy way for I shall be with thee And mine angels shall encircle thee Doubt not what thy knowest Fear not man for he cannot hurt thee And with everlasting kindness will I succor thee And with mercy will I take thee ‘neath my wings For the mountains shall depart and the hills shall be removed and the valleys shall be lost beneath the sea, but know, my child, my kindness shall not depart from thee My kindness shall not depart from thee. ❤

The first time I ever heard this song was in choir practice, it moved me so much! But actually singing it with the choir as part of an Easter cantata brought me to tears but I was able to continue singing with tears streaming down my cheeks....

I saw the movie last Monday. What a masterpiece. This trailer is magnificent. Paul Cardall playing the piano makes it more poignant, and Dallyn Bayles rendition of this song moves me to tears every time I play it. Thank you so much!

A beautiful rendition of this sacred song. Our Father in Heaven and our Savior will never depart from us. I have felt their love at times when I was in the darkness and pain. We are here to test this life and pass through sorrow and tribulation and show our Father in Heaven that we trust in Him and in His plan. The Son of God had descended below to learn how to succor us.

Trials and hard times dont mean he's forgotten about you or stopped loving you. Remember that everything good comes from God. He can fight your personal battles with you. This song helps me remember how loving our Heavenly Father and Savior are. Sometimes we have to prove we love and trust him in the things we go through. Never forget you are so loved❤

My Brothers amd Sisters, the Plan of Salvation is real. God lives and works miracles seen and unseen---yesterday today and forever. 22 years have passed since the words and melody were shared as music. Ten years ago came this masterpiece rendition. The scriptures quoted are Isaiah 54; 3 Nephi 22. and allusions to Doctrine & Covenants 121. Isaiah 54 is of the most powerful scriptures allowed to be recorded of all time. And of all scriptures out there one uttered to those in Bountiful when our Lord visited them. A people who's mountains had departed, hills removed and cities covered---highways sunken in the depths of the waters darkness so thick no fire would burn... families lost. Hope had faltered in their time of darkness as the Earth herself wept over the sacrifice and death of the Prince of Peace. Families were restored, lives healed and that scripture spoken. Perhaps the most beautiful scripture ever written. A promise made before this life ...and kept. No rating system in mortality can contain tracks such as these. I full on wept the first time I heard this song... and again this evening.

@@shelbyindianajones3226 Not according to the diaries of the people in the handcart companies. Read "Devil's Gate" if you want to hear the handcart story from the perspective of the people who survived the trek.

I feel pressed to write in the comment section on this song too the man who sings this song I am speechless I just had the savior who this song is about speak to me and he expressed to me how deeply he loves this song because of the reverence towards him and his father and the praise towards him and his father it is one of the best songs because the Savior said to me it has brought many hearts to him and he wants you to know he loves all of you continue striving he will always be there even when you feel not worthy of his love simply ask him to show you his love for you. I apologize for punctuation I honestly do not know how to do it
