I was the soldier, not the parent. I know people who have had their kids gone to Afghanistan and Iraq and it’s sooo tough for them. I knew a lady who said she hadn’t slept in 9 months. I can imagine the sense of relief from these mothers seeing their babies home must be intense as these videos.

it must be hard for families because it is probably not all the times you can have contact because sometimes the soldier is not allowed to make contact because of the mission
