Nice presentation. Unfortunately I still find retargeting in KineFX cumbersome and somehow unreliable compared to Maya/Motionbuilder pipeline. FBX output easily gets corrupted, and skinning on imported character broken, making the workflow unnecessary complicated and slow. However, I do look forward to the day when I'll be able to ditch Autodesk. Right now it's just quicker and results are predictable ( floor contacts and bakes for example)

Hello I did the same thing as you but at the MotionclipCycle node it would not let me set a customed frames... it is from 1 to 120 the whole session is in green

Is there a way to use Houdini to Fix animations where the root wasn't constrained to the Pelvis during motion like for example Motion Capture data. I got this motion capture data and I'm looking for a good way to make the Root follow the Pelvis but only on one Axis and to properly orient the character so that they are only moving in the proper direction. I've been looking for videos on this and have yet to find anything on it.

There are many videos about that, check sidefx learn in the kinefx tab, but even in the video you are commenting it's mentionned at two steps, 31:41 for instance
