Great review! How would it compare to the Celest Wyvern Pro (super cardioid) microphone? Your previous video mic test volume is so low that even I turn up to full volume, I'm unable to hear it properly XD I heard that the Wyvern Pro will utilise both inline & boom mic at the same time.

Hello thanks for stopping by 🙂 Sorry yes i recently got around the issue of matching the audio to the video when testing mics. As for the mic quality, the ruyi has a much better mic than the wyvern pro and this also has that mute switch which is really handy. And yes while the wyvern pro utilises both the mic together i have found no reverb issue there 🙂 My suggestion would be to get ruyi and use your own iem with it.

@@hokagoteatimereviews hey, it's really great seeing your feedback. I am personally using Gramr and I found the microphone pickup is quite sensitive. Will get the Ruyi and benchmark between both, and my friend's WyvernPro is coming too :)

Hey. Great review. I just received this mic, but it's not working with my PC. I haven't had this issue with other microphones. Did you ever test it using a computer?

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! Really appreciate it 🙂❤️ Yes they should work with PC or your laptop. Granted your laptop or pc supports mic over the 3.5mm jack. If it does and if its still not working then please check the audio settings and shift the mic to the celest ruyi. Hope i have helped you 🙂

If you use a Windows OS, try to turn on the Spatial Sound. I used this solution. Hope it helps.

Want to know how it compares to Kinera Sky Wing? Very little info about Sky Wing. But Im curious about its unidirectional mic vs Omnidirectional mic on Ruyi. Especially for working at crowded places like in a cafe.

Hello, thanks for stoping by. 🙂 sadly dont have the sky wing, i did get a chance to review the skywing. But didn't opt for it, because my life has been too hectic and there were other stuff i was busy reviewing too. Guess i should have reviewed them 😅 but i would assume the mic would be on par for performance as they are the same mic. But you will be limited by the Bluetooth compression.

@@hokagoteatimereviews Woaa..hopefully, you can make time to review it now or in the near future. 😁 Actually, the Sky Wing is also wired. Theres another Sky (I forgot the name) from Kinera as well that uses bluetooth. I just wondering if the Unidirectional mic would be better for Working From Anywhere compared to Omnidirectional mic like Ruyi or Gramr. Because theres nothing that I could find about this type of mic on YT and reddit.

hello! yes these work with ea500lm. I have used that same setup for gaming and video calls. They should work with any 2-pin iems 🙂
