This tune leapt out immediately as something new. The production values, the depth, you'd put it on and it sounded so much bigger and better than most records. It still sounds pretty damn good even now.

The vocal is taken from the "Star Trek The Next Generation" TV series. I don't remember the episode number but it's the one where chief engineer Geordi La Forge lost his memory after an accident and Dr Beverly Crusher, the ship doctor at the USS Enterprise, tells Geordi's crewmates to stimulate Geordi's memory with known triggers. "Memories are formed by association. Smells, sounds and images from the present could possibly trigger...". :) You're welcome. :D

This blew me away on pete tongs essential selection in 1996, then heard the B side BORG DESTROYER which is every bit as good if not 10x better
