1:03:33 - an amazing takeaway from this video right there - for someone who works long hours, doing workouts in the evening, sometimes i will be feeling good and push a hard workout finishing around 8-9PM (possible in summer due to the late sunsets); but then i'll be still completely wired at midnight, interupting sleep, the knock on effect won't be felt the next day, it's the subsequent days where it will catch up. That workout felt great, so it seems like the right thing to do... but probably would be better to have some lifestyle changes to get that done earlier in the day, to enable better recovery.

A proof that VO2 Max is trainable is my data (from Garmin connect). Interestingly, I never planned anything structured or even thought this number would improve so fast! Now imagine if you followed a structured training :) April 35, May 37, June 38, July 40, August 43 ml/kg/min. Less than 5 months! Ride stats since April: 182 total hours, 3800 km and 38.400 meters climb. 2/3 on road bike, 1/3 on e-gravel which I usually use low to mid-assist to train myself rather having easy rides.

As an Audi driver, I feel attacked 😂 tho I know what you mean , which is why I don’t really ride the roads anymore, off road is where it’s at for me but still have to use the roads to get to the forests and there are allways Aggy drivers . Great video this, Iv gleaned a lot from it, as usual. Thanks coach ⭐️

You know you did the 4DP proper, when you struggle to complete the 4DP-based workouts the days after... 🥵
