It is an annual by the Prime Minister to stay for a visit with the monarch. Not a summons just a tradition. The King has no power politically but can advise his PM.

Theoretically the king has no political power, but if he said my son is running England's reputation and I wouldn't object if you wanted to remove his Dukedom etc, I think the PM would happily oblige as he did not believe there should be a monarchy at all 😂😂

True, but if you read the article (and listen to the video) you will see that the news report said that the PM had REFUSED the King's invitation (apparently because of the unrest that was happening in the UK, he said he couldn't go) and then the news article says that the King "ordered" the PM to attend Balmoral for the usual meeting. So although it is correct that the PM goes to Balmoral every August the thing that is "new" is the situation where (reportedly according to the media) the PM refused and the King then "ordered" him to go. 😀😀😀

Sure he is, but he didn't ever behave like this before he met her. Some people can be very susceptible to suggestions by others. He certainly bears responsibility for his own actions. She is also responsible for her influence over him ❤️💙💜

Of course let's not let him off the hook. It was all his choice. But also, he never betrayed his family before she came along, so she has influenced his actions. All so sad really when they were so loved at the start before they left England and royal l life 😢😢
