Birthplace of the legend of King Arthur and the "Sword in the Stone" are deeply embedded in Glastonbury, England. Rumors of the "Holy Grail" ending up here spurs curiosity around the "Chalice Well". The Holy Thorn tree also grows throughout these lands having rumored that St. Joseph of Arimethea buried the "Crown of Thorns" here, which Jesus wore at the Crucifixion. Lady Guinevere, Sir Lancelot and the round table all can be rooted back to this legendary city.

Thank you Harno3. In my opinion, the historical relevance of this place can rival any other place in the world. Glastonbury is rooted deep in history, mythology and religious content. The stories of King Arthur, The Sword in the Stone, The Knights of the Round Table, The Cup of Christ, Pagan Symbols and Present Day traditions makes this town my favorite in the world. Thank you again Glastonbury, England for allowing me to help tell your story.

Is it buried beneath the Glastonbury Thorn ?
@nialloneill5097
@nialloneill5097 4 жыл бұрын
@@LordGandor3 On visiting Glastonbury, from my experiences, I would say no. I experienced the Crucifixion at the Thorn, on Wearyall Hill, not the one in the Chalice Well gardens. I sensed a King Arthur prototype from about the 5/6th centuries was buried in the Abbey grounds. As I have just explained on this video site this is not the real King Arthur though, who actually lives on higher spiritual planes, and fell from his high task due to falling prey to the dark currents that came from the earth, and its surrounding environs. But...the real King of Creation, at the uppermost plane of Creation, is called Parsifal, who has existed since the words Let there be Light permitted Creation to come into existence, thus, he is the Alpha and Omega. Yet there is another Castle that is annexed and adjacent to this one, which then lies in the Divine plane, and has existed since the very beginning of all time and manifested out of the Divine Ray of Light from God Himself. Here, the Creative Will is seen as a King too, but at the same time He is the Kings of Kings, and Holy Spirit, from where He annually dispenses the wondrous gift of 'God's water of life', so that Creation need never have to disintegrate and die. However, this requires the co-operation of all spirits in Creation, who need to obey the Holy Commandments so they can absorb this spiritual water, which bascially means to open oneself and dedicate one's life solely to the Will of God, which is the only way we can feel happy, and fulfilled, and ascend to our final destiny, which is to return to our birthplace, Paradise, which is an eternal resting place for all human spirits who have lived aright within the wheel of reincarnation, and come to recognition of God's law, and become willing to abide by them. We do not actually rest there, but continue to work in the Light, for the betterment and happiness of all, and it is only those humans who have attained to this place who can be truly called blessed. Blessings be upon you and all those who seek in good faith. Amen. PS Due to the Fall of Man, the cause of which is the overcultivation of his material, and earthly intellect, and the corresponding increase in his sensual and sexual desires, man has become cut off from these many currents from the more luminous realms above us, hence why we are now at risk of annhilation, unless men draw back from their evil paths, and yield to the Power of God, and so reconnect to the flow of healthy circulation of radiations between themselves, and the Creative Will of God, otherwise, as legends have warned, we face certain destruction. Remarkably we all have memories of Paradise, and how to live aright, but it is the doom of men that they forget !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@nialloneill5097

Thus, the real Chalice from which the Power of God streams into Creation annually, stands in the Divine plane, with prototypes on lower spiritual planes. One day, after the purifying storms of the Apocalypse have brought man to his knees, and he is prepared to serve the Almighty Father, rather than his vanity and other desires, then a Temple will built upon the earth, upon some holy land that is only presently known to a few dedicated servants of God. There, a chosen servant will act as an intermediary for the King of Kings, and as an earthly king, and he will then pass on the Rays of Light from the real Grail, through a holy vessel, that will be made by expert earthly hands, albeit with higher spiritual guidance, and this vessel will act a a Chalice, for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit for all mankind, or at least those who choose to hand over their lives to God. Amen!

When it comes to legends you have to size them down, humanize them.I have studied for almost forty years.King Arthur was a descendent of Joseph of Arimathea who along with Jesus built a small home where the abby stands now. Arthur was not roman or celt he was pure British.The grail was a simple olive wood cup that stayed in a town called Purdy and probably is still there till this day.Arthur was a great king like Alfred only before recorded history.He United the people and being what William ended in 1066.

From the bit of research that I've done the remnants of the grail rest with the Powell family who really don't have much to say about it.A simple wooden bowl made of the wood of an olive tree.As far as King Arthur himself it is said that He is a desendent of Joseph of Arimathia which would have made him blood kin to Jesus Christ.William Blake in his poem Jerusalem ponders the question, did young Jesus walk those green hill's of England.I think He must have.Just as I believe the legends that He traveled to India and America as well.But I believe He actually lived and worked for awhile in Somerset county.That poem has become a song that is played as second national anthem so I must not be the only one who takes.In some other research I've done there is a train of though that connects the Royal family to the ancient line of King David of Israel.Isn't that interesting?

You really need to read the the two Graham Phillips books about King Arthur so you can visit some real King Arthur sites. Or watch his videos. What made King Arthur the most effective battlefield warrior of his day? His grandfather Cunedda moved his entire tribe of Picts from Scotland to Northern Wales so King Arthur was a Scottish Pict warrior and King of Powys from 488 to 520.

There is no such statement in the Bible that Joseph of Arimathea brought the boy Jesus to an island in the north. Please cite the verse and I will stand corrected.
@TheIndianaJames
@TheIndianaJames 5 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely correct! I misspoke. During the late 12th century, Joseph became connected with the Arthurian cycle, appearing in them as the first keeper of the Holy Grail. This idea first appears in Robert de Boron's Joseph d'Arimathie, in which Joseph receives the Grail from an apparition of Jesus and sends it with his followers to Britain. This theme is elaborated upon in Boron's sequels and in subsequent Arthurian works penned by others. Later retellings of the story contend that Joseph of Arimathea himself travelled to Britain and became the first Christian bishop in the Isles, a claim Gigot characterizes as a fable.

The Normans were Germanic French and related to the Germanic Saxons, (the English), they did not invade Britain until centuries after Arthur's time so he is definitely not a Norman chieftain as you say at 1.20 . Arthur spoke only a form of Welsh and a little Latin, he was a Celt under Roman occupation. Really good video, thanks.

There is NOWHERE in The Bible which prove that Joseph of Aramethia ever took Jesus to the British Isles, nor is the myth that the chalice was used to collect blood. The legend of the Holy Grail clearly claims that the chalice was used to serve the wine at the last supper
@bwanaminoplis2536
@bwanaminoplis2536 7 жыл бұрын
The Chalice used by Christ in the Last Supper is made of onyx. Was sent to Leon -Spain as a present and recovered with gold by a princess. The tale about it traveled to France and the Legend of the Holy Grail was born. You can see the Cup in a museum and also the big Last Supper painting above the kings and queens tombs. That is all real. Dated and documented. No legend. I don't know why everybody is searching in U.K when all the writers ( W Essembach, Chretien de Troyes, R. Wagner... ) told the place where the Chalice is : North of Spain...

@bwanaminoplis2536 7 жыл бұрын
MrRicohogan : Of course, but I think that sometimes a legend is about a memory of something that happened. In this case it seems clear : A onyx cup is carried to Leon as the Cup of Christ (the cup is dated: I Century B,C, -Palestine ) A princess that is not married is her owner, she covered the cup with gold and jewels and wriote her name : " In the name of the Lord : Urraca, daughter of Ferdinand " . you can see the similiarities with the legend : the princess with the golden cup. Her brother was the King Alfonso VI of Leon. Alfonso sounds like Anfortas, the King of the Grail. He was wounded by a muslim spare too. The Kingdom was in a big danger because the almoravide attack. Alfonso married with Agnes of Aquitanie, and when she died, with Constance of Burgundy. Many knights and troubadours traveled from Burgundy to the King's Palace in Leon . They helped in the battles against the muslims and talked about all they saw in Leon when they went back in France. Another example : the convent with only women of aristocracy (I can avoid remember Monty Python scene) this convent existed at those years in Leon : the name of the convent-palace was San Salvador de Palat del Rey . It is similar to Palace of Mont Salvat, There are a lot of coincidences. But all of them are historical personages, perfectly documented, You can see their firms in many documents . You can see the place where they are buried. And you can see the damaged onyx cup in its golden reliquary. Sorry my bad english please
@bwanaminoplis2536
@bwanaminoplis2536 7 жыл бұрын
And, finally, Yes , you''re right: the chalice is the cup used to serve the wine in the last supper. In the place where princess Urraca is buried , there is a big painting of the Last Supper. it was painted in year 1.080. You can see a man offering to Christ an onyx cup with wine. They are having fishes for supper, that is very strange, because lamb is what jewish law command. Fish is an usual eucharist symbol. I guess the myth of Joseph of Aramethia and the blood of Christ is more unlikely to believe.

Why after all that God and Jesus said about worshiping objects or giving power to meaningless objects do Catholics and Medieval Europeans still do this. Is it more cultural and how Europeans always did that with all their previous pagan beliefs melding with their newly found Christian faith. I don't know. But it seems to be wild to be i love it and hate it all at the same time; bittersweet. Thorns on Christs head if that did infact happen would have been locally made and then quickly decomposed that's just basic science.

The Holy Grail is thought to have a healing power when one drinks from it. But, only those with the purest of hearts may possess it. Now what exactly that entails, is hard to say. If it means that you have had to act a certain way from birth, then I don't think any of us have pure hearts. If it means, believing in God, and surrendering our lives to him, then I would say those who have done so, and live a life by God's word only, are probably the one's with the most purest of hearts. They say the Grail is in a church in Spain. I would give anything to be able to drink, and be healed from the Grail's power. I wholly believe this is true, that the Grail does indeed heal. We need to follow God, which I must say I haven't been doing. I'm not after the material possession of the Grail, I would like very much to see it, and to be allowed to drink from it. But I absolutely love everything that surrounds the story of King Arthur. But please note, I don't worship the Grail. To some people who read this, it might sound that way, but I don't. I just love the story so much, and I do feel as though drinking from the Grail just might do something good for some people who drink from it, that's all. I have seizures and am on medicine for controlling them. What I wouldn't give to drink from the Grail and have those seizures go away. That would be something for sure.

Bullshit. Arthur wasn't fucking Norman. He didn't fucking live in a castle and he didn't fucking live in an abbey. He was a Military Warrior - a General who fought in the 400 - 500 ADs against either the retreating Romans or the Invading Saxons or both - 500 - 600 years before the Normans ever invaded Britain .. Get your fucking facts strait .. He was fighting to save the Celts and their Lands and their pre-christian, pre-English Tyrant Monarchy way of life - he wasn't a King fighting for the invading Saxons or the invading Normans .. Arthur and Merlin and Guinevere and the men and women fighting for Arthur were all CELTIC people living in a CELTIC Great Britain, defending the CELTIC way of life ..
