A candid unedited footage of Ballal Sen's Dhibi, the ruined palace grounds of Ballal Sen, an eminent legendary ruler of 12th century Bengal, son of Vijay Sen, and father of Lakhsman Sen, stalwarts of renouned Sen dynasty. It is a monument of national importance, excavated in eighties by ASI. Deserted facades, corridors, columns, stuccoes and ancient Bengali traditional terracotta foundations lie morosely, counting centuries of oblivion, overlooking past events of pomp and glory, in a remote flora of Bamunpukur village, near Mayapur, awaiting intellectual attention and recognition. A 1300 sq ft of bygone hearsay and glorious past of medieval Bengal echoes in eternity.
