Let me set the stage for what I experienced just minutes ago when this came up on autoplay: I'm just coming up to Las Cruses, NM, I'm rolling down the road in my 18 wheeler, I've gone 650 miles so far today and I'm hoping to get another 50 miles before I call it quits, I'm a little tired, but I'll be alright. I've got my headphones on and this starts playing. What timing. I instantly feel like the coolest mofo for a hundred miles in any direction. Thanks for the awesome track guys 👌

Heading down to Philly to see these guys on September 30th. They're a cross between Floyd, Grunge and other elements. All favorites. It's a swirling maelstrom of sound. Hard to believe when watching Kyuss in open for Danzig in 1992 that desert metal and stoner would lead to this 30 years later. I'm stoked!

If I spend the rest of my years a complete and utter failure, knowing King Buffalo existed will make that time, nothing short of a complete success. The way they build momentum, it’s so discreet, your last memory of swaying your head, back and forth, rhythmically, is interrupted when you need to pull yourself back through the hole, your body just made, in the wall.

After listening to them for several years now and being myself a pianist, organist, guitarist, and vocalist in my early youth and now at the age of 72, I believe that I can safely say that King Buffalo currently defines this genre. There are of course many others exhibiting this vibe that excel doing it; but for me, King Buffalo currently defines it for the 21st century. Each separate are good musicians but together they experience a special type of synchronicity above the others even if by a small margin, not wanting to insult other dedicated, talented, inspired musicians and their fans and followers. A great band puts out great music time and again over not just a few years but decade after decade. So far so good. God bless. Wish I could see you when you come to Atlanta. Cheers!

For real! Damn I see so much truth being dropped in the comments around here. I used to swear by ATW … almost thinking King Buffalo was umm less than. This was before I even gave KB a solid listen. I chalked King Buffalo up as just like the others … but then I did a deep dive in their records..saw them live on the 12 th…and I quite literally now know they are indeed the best. It almost makes me well up with emotions…they are the best.

@@tylermoulton7294 I never think of music as less than or betterthan. Bands are different and hit people in different ways depending on all the baggage someone is carrying at that point in their lives. You can't ever get into a band for the first time twice. There is a ton of music that hit me hard at different points in my life that I might never listen to now, but it doesn't make them less than, just not for me now. The last two bands I fell in love like this with were Kendrick Lamar and Mac Miller. But especially with Mac Miller, it would take me an hour to explain how much he affected my mental well-being, while producing some flat out amazing music (including what I think is a psycheleic masterpiece, Faces). Bands and artists that can get in my head are what I love. And it's not a genre, as I bounce all over depending on what point in my life we are talking about. But KB has been my obsession for over a year now. Really can't get enough, and have seen them live twice.
