if you have a King6" x 48" Belt & 9" Disc Sander No. KC-760L and the belt slips. There are no remedies in the manual. Found with mine, the belt alignment adjustment wheels had loosened and cause the belt to slip. My remedy was to have the unit vertical and turn the adjustment wheels clockwise until they bottom out, this will tighten the belt. Then you can slowly adjust back until the locking mechanism engages and the belt tracks.

I have owned a few King power tools over the years and they were all junk. Sorry King Canada but my Mother taught me to tell the truth and speak your mind. I can not say all King power tools are junk but the ones I owned were junk. For that reason I can not buy another King Canada power tool again.
