Epic song😎 creepy and atmospheric

One of my favorite instrumentals of all time. A lot of beautiful, atmospheric music with a menacing, mechanical threat looming underneath until it crushes the serenity. Drills, hydraulics, war drums, it dominates the soundscape until it slowly fades even more chaotic and violently than it entered. A less vibrant peace returns, but with a looming dread it could return to dominate at any moment, as the drums continue always. That's the story as I heard it, anyways :)

@@silviodas.martino3918 I look at it this way…every day I wake up sucking down air is a great day….anything after that is just….gravy…..turned 63 a couple of weeks ago….and don’t mind aging…..I know in 1974 when Red came out…The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway……I was 15….for me…the greatest year for music….very happy to have come of age in the 70s…..by 1977 I was playing out in a 3 piece all instrumental original progressive group called Strange New Flesh in Cleveland Ohio…the next 15 years were incredible for me….in 82 I left the progressive band for a progressive pop band….all original….along the lines of XTC…..The Cardiacs….The Police….we were called Radio Free America….my last show with them was opening for Simple Minds when they were the biggest band in the world…coming off of the soundtrack for The Breakfast Club…that was a very big tour…it was a great summer….opening up for Duran Duran….The Police….so many acts…loved every second of it…like my age now….much older….body a bit worn…..but still have the same love of music that I had all those years ago….enjoy your age my friend…and stay safe.

I never realized how industrial this album and song sounded till many years later. Very cool hearing prog and industrial mixed, King Crimson was one of the only English prog bands that remained consistently creative and good even through the 80s. And for them to basically start prog in 69 makes them such an impressive band. No bad 70s or 80s albums or songs from them.
