Did Charles M. Shultz have anything to do with this

Nope, the ending music suggests a "Beetle Bailey" 'toon. King Features / Hearst owns those characters. Schulz' employer was previously called "*United* Feature Syndicate."

no. First logo is from a Beetle Bailey episode that was not done at Paramount but at an overseas studio.

Charles Schultz's "Peanuts" was copyrighted by rival syndicate United Features Syndicate, so, no, Schultz had nothing to do with King Features, Inc. This logo was used for TV and theatrical cartoons for "Beetle Bailey", "Krazy Kat", and "Snuffy Smith" with some animation by Paramount Studios under the direction of Seymour Kneitel. Some episodes were animated by an overseas animation studio.
