I see what you mean; my favorite Ghidorah depiction is Christopher Shy’s water color promo poster for the movie because he got the size right including the heads. Originally Ghidorah was supposed to be much larger considering he was the daikaiju every other was supposed to face off against all at once in order to even the odds due to his much larger size.

Man--there was so much negative hype around this...even before and after the production pieces were coming out. But even with what I believe to be necessary imperfections, this is without doubt the definitive King Ghidorah! The pics of you next to the piece--WOW!!! And you're not a little guy. Awesome, awesome piece, and you gave us a fantastic review! Spiral Studios should be very proud of their high-end collectibles debut. Their King Ghidorah, in my opinion, is an absolute Grail!

First off all congrats on getting # 7 out of 299 but Damn Gem that's one impressive sculpt of monster zero. Despite the noticeable seam on the tail it is an amazing sculpt. Hope you can get the light up features fixed. I don't know where you are planning to display him but it is beautiful to see with all of the details on the scales and spikes. Love it.

Did not even think to check your channel to see if you got it or not; glad you did! Got mine a couple weeks ago and it is everything I thought it would be and more upon seeing it in person. Also got my two Mothra larva and they’re great too. I am looking forward to Prime 1’s 2021 Mecha Godzilla arriving because that thing is going to be incredible.

The Japanese pronounce it Gah-dor-ah. In a couple of English dubbed American releases it was pronounced Gee-dah-rah. It was confusing to me as well but both pronunciations are correct. But the Japanese refer to him as Gah-dor-ah.

I always thought it was Guh-Dor-ah… but a Kaiju collector told me Gee… so I rolled with that 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@PlayWearTalkRed No no, you don't have a basic understanding of Japanese if that's the way you think. King Ghidorah in Japanese is spelled "キングギドラ" Ki-n-gu Gi-do-ra. "ギ" is the character "Gi". It is pronounced the same way as "Gi" in "Karate Gi", with a hard g sound at the beginning. Think of the word "Key" but with a G instead of a K.

That's a monstet piece of a statue, i like the colors as you mentioned has a bit of gold brown and black which is nice. I wonder if the wingspan is as wide as the Hulk Buster suit statue? The thumbnail makes you look like the Dilophosaurus from the movie Jurassic Park. Nice review.

Not a big fan of the base, not the sculpt, but the ring thing, I think all sculpt bases should be just the sculpted base (like those in the background), or a simple plain ring like painting frames (designed to frame a picture, not add or distract from it). This almost transformers looking ring around it kinda gives you a vibe like its a massive spaceship or city on a sci fi platform.
