Yup, I always tend to forget about the Zonai devices. Most are very simple but effective. But I would agree with the other poster I think the fan might work even better, since you don't have to activate it every time, although it depends on your battery power.

Doesn't always work in your favor though. Sometimes you'll get struck by their lightning as you're using the ice platform as an elevator.

@@andrewbara3507 If you have the Lightning Helm, you'll be completely immune to lightning and only need to avoid the icicles. A combination I like is two pieces of Barbarian Armor (40% attack boost) combined with Lightning Helm.

I have to say I wish during the final phase of the fight the fire head would do the big fireball attack if you take too long to get up. It feels wrong that the ice and lightning heads are going absolutely crazy and fire head just kinda does nothing

@@yuseixp3058 I will say I was actually wrong about this. I kind of forgot about this comment but since then one time while fighting a king gleeok it actually did do the big fireball. I have no idea why because it’s never happened to me other times and most of the time it’s just ice and lightning, so they should’ve made it happen more consistently. But it at the very least CAN happen.

@@timothygooding9544 No, even if you keep it active it usually doesn’t do anything. It just sort of stays there roaring or something while the ice and lightning one do their attacks. Like I said in a reply, I have actually gotten the fire head to do the fireball attack sometimes, but it’s very infrequent

Honestly was kind of disappointed that the King version just had one of each elemental head, really wish he had his own unique element or so something. Work make it even cooler if you could only get that elemental affect from the King, so you really feel like you earned something awesome (unlike the others where it’s a lot easier to just get dragon horns).

If you don't have a spring, fusing monster eyes to your arrows will make the fight almost just as easy.

You can farm Keese Eyeballs by firing a bomb arrow at a swarm of them when they leave caves

@@aquartertwo I found two colonies of Keese around the Ulria Grotto area as well. And in that area, there are updrafts where you can easily enter bullet time with your bomb fused arrows and get a whole bunch of eyeballs that way.

Walk into the fight with nothing but rocket shields. Never let it leave the ground. Constantly go into slow motion with the bow Cook 5 might bananas for an attack boost, shoot the eyes with bones for thunder, ice for fire and fire for ice. As long as it never gets more than 30 feet of the ground easy fight

You can do the same trick against the Flux Construct III when they are really high in the air. It's pretty much the same fight in they'll throw blocks at you that you just ride back up.

You can rematch pretty much every boss that's on the Surface or in the Sky in the Depths, after you've defeated them once. Really helpful for those like myself who have to take photos of the boss(es) for the Hyrule Compendium, and Yes, I know I can BUY the "Elite Enemy" photos, but I want my Compendium to be filled with photos I myself have taken, not some pre-taken crap. It'd feel less fulfilling if I were to do that.

The gloom really doesn't matter much at all. Once it's on the ground you can hit its head without any penalty. The gloom will only damage you if you hit its body. And since most of the fight will be done with arrows, you'll rarely ever be close to it. By using bullet time you can avoid most damage. Does take a little practice but this one really isn't tougher than the others. The gloom will pretty much be a non-factor.

All you need to easily beat this thing is: - Royal Guard Bow or Lynel Bow - Heavy/Two-Handed 80+ dmg weapon - Fierce Deity armor - Good aim Thats how I beat him and got the full twilight princess set -

Different elemental heads and its rematch has the gloom effect on it i would say does a rather nice job on `spicing it up to make it more unique then how some games will use the exact same model for both a regular `field enemy` and a boss (usually a elite type) enemy except maybe increase its size and that about it. Looking at you Xenoblade chronicles 3 for one example. I may not be rushing to clear the game but i am certainly enjoying what i am experiencing at a casual pace. Plus its pretty much a King Ghidora reference at this point, on top of a throw back to some other particular `old zelda game` since i am certainly getting vibes from older LoZ games with some of these `new enemies.` in ToTK.

You should learn to pivot shield-jump so you can face the enemy while entering bullet time with the wing shield. Also press B to dismiss the shield right before your hold zR.

When. The ice starts falling just climb onto one of them and hit recall, it'll bring you all the way up to it so that you can bullet time more arrow shots.

@@PeachyGaming69 yeah. I honestly am a bit disappointed with the Lynels and Gleeoks. Was hoping for more with the Gleeoks, and to learning a whole new move set for lynel combat. Instead we only got one new lynel attack, that side to side head sweep.

@@stephenpeterson4738 The Gleeok was fun as hell when I was attempting them early game with little resources and avoiding healing. Using bullet time to stun them over and over seems boring as hell. I think I'd want to avoid keese balls and bullet time just to make it more interesting. I was using recall on falling debris with base stamina and a weak bow and it was fun because I was still struggling.

King Gleeoks are to overworld bosses what Lynels are to normal enemies.

I feel like he's available as a rematch purely because one of the main temple bosses is not available. Minor Spoiler below... Koloktos 2.0 (as I like to kill him) or if you're lame then the Seized Construct doesn't seem to have a rematch available anywhere. I mean it makes sense because why would it be available with the set conditions the fight forces you to deal with, but yeah. They could just give him a rematch that is actually damageable without the electirified fences, or better yet just spawn the fences when you aggro the guy.

I used a super specific setup to cheese the bossfight with a spear dealing over 360 damage a hit

@@Plantdaddygardenman knights halberd with critical hit to double damage on the fifth hit. Stuck a silver lynel sabre horn to increase the base damage, ate an attack up meal, and then self damaged myself til I was 1 heart to activate the knights perk.
