In terms of structure, variety of sounds in routines, colaps crushed Inertia. Imo inertia had structure problems, and was only spamming high inward bass, just stayed in this repetition of sounds, he had more responses from the audience, but looking closely at colaps took this one for sure.

Colaps was also consistently clean with both his rounds, whereas Inertia sounded like he was struggling a bit to stay clean in the start and end of his second round. Was still a good round but yeah, it had issues.

Inertia made a big impression in his earlier battles, but by this point the judges were more familiar with his style and there wasn’t enough new to push him over. You should check out Inertia vs Helium, it was one of the most popular battles that year.

Na minha opinião, eu não vejo problema no estilo dele, inclusive nessa batalha mesmo ele fez uns beats muito incríveis. O problema foram os erros. Erros de continuidade, estrutura, falta de ar, repetição de linhas melódicas inteiras, etc. Não tenho problema com estilo "repetitivo", até porque o próprio Colaps tem um estilo muito característico. O problema é repetir partes inteiras de outros rounds....

Basically the last 2 battles (for rounds) king inertia made very similar beats with the same inward bass sound, so the people grew tired of it. You can the the crowd not reacting as much to inertia because they’ve already heard this. He’s still fire though and is even better today, same with colaps.
