For those who don't know, Kong's fight with the last V-Rex is a straight up homage to the fight with the T-Rex in the original 1933 film; the fight goes just about the exact same way.

@@kilytv3286The V-Rex is the next evolution step for the T-Rex in this universe. It was stated somewhere I can’t remember exactly where but you can search it up if you like Whether it makes sense for the T-Rex to evolve from two fingers to three is another story and Peter Jackson probably didn’t meant for it to be that deep
@JBrotsis16 күн бұрын
@@kilytv3286what the guy above me said but with more source. Peter Jackson stated in the BTS to the blu ray when he was creating skull island, the lore behind it is dinosaurs were given another 65 million years to further evolve while the rest of the world recovered from the meteor to present day 1933. So yes, in the lore of this movie and what Peter Jackson created, the V-rex evolved from three T-rex due to an extra 65 million years advantage and those evolutionary traits were based on the environmental conditions of the island. The extra digit is not the only difference, their skeletonal structure is different to be more serpentine and they have larger/wider feet to traverse the island’s ragged landscape. During those following 65 million years, different animals from across those eras would’ve found their way to the island and too were able to continue evolving instead of going extinct like their brethren. It’s why there’s a rich diversity of dinosaurs, birds, mammals, and insects on skull island. By the time the team discover the island, it had become nearly sunk into the ocean. All those say, these environmental change also further evolved the animals to become more aggressive and predatory as their territories were beginning to collide. Additionally the island used to be much bigger but over time earthquakes and volcanic eruptions began to terraform the island and sinking it into the ocean. The beach the natives live on with the wall protecting them from the creatures, used to be the center of the island with an ancient civilization and a wall completely enclosing those people from the creatures. All this is stated in the BTS of the movie and there’s an amazing book that came out with the alongside the movie called “King Kong: A Natural History of Skull Island”. This book goes into greater detail and shows off at least 100 animal species found on the island not seen in the movies. All familiar animals from the fossil record but with disturbing mutations. It’s an awesome book. Lastly, someone posted the segment from the blu ray about skull island’s history. I’ll drop the link below. It’s a great watch and makes you wish this movie got a sequel.

As a Brit/Londoner, this was the FIRST movie I watched where the audience cheered and applauded loudly after this scene, the stampede scene and the bugs scene... By the end, all that could be heard were loud sniffles. Brits are VERY reserved in cinema auditoriums but it was Definitely a great experience.

Oh yes, yes yes yes, I didn't expect this to appear, but whoever uploaded this, thank you, also this fight scene was amazing, and this movie is the best, especially since it came in the year I was born in which was 2005 since I was born in July 1st on that year, and since there were a lot of other things I know that came in the year I was born in such as Madagascar, Racing Stripes, Sky High, Robots, Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch has a glitch, season 9 of Thomas and friends and the actual first/movie episode of season 9 of Thomas and friends called "Calling all engines!" which both came two months after my date of birth, the actual first/movie episode of Kim Possible called "So the drama", and much more.

@TobeyFan1984 they do.... Literal common knowledge. Gorillas also get murked by chimp groups in captivity sooo not impossible for a gorilla to get mauled. They are prey
@spartacus265018 күн бұрын
@TobeyFan1984 look into the subject friend. There are many studies on it. Quick video on where to look is on a channel "wildlife brawls productions" all caps. Then look for the leopard hunting gorillas. They get gorillas a few ways but at night is where a leopard has almost every advantage. Also the leopard that live near gorillas are closer to a jaguar weight and strength because they take down prey 2x-3x their size. Oddly enough as the common leopard people think of weigh about 130-170 most. Mind you I like gorillas as the peaceful animals they are. Gorillas are the most peaceful of the wild primates which is great because if they were like chimps or baboons we'd be in trouble in the wild. Sadly they are prey to one predator and that is leopards and Crocs if they get caught in water.
