I remember hearing this song when I was like 15 or 16 blown away that king Krule made this song with a great singer (unknown to me at the time). I’m 27 now and just found out today that this is an Alicia keys song, not a king Krule original. What a moment I had when I found that out!

it's from the zoo kid days, before he'd fully transitioned to the KK moniker. he had a bandcamp where he posted more experimental beats like this one. DJ JD Sports/Edgar the Beatmaker came to fulfil that function later on.
