Looking objectively, this looks close to his top level. No big first serves due to the format, so fair enough, but his overall game is really solid. Nicks relies on his first serve a lot, so being able to beat a top ten player WITHOUT his first serve, really says a lot. When he DOES have that serve, his level will be relatively higher again. One thing that really stood out was his backhand. Its not quite where it was when he destroyed Rublev, but its close. Im really looking forward to the next few months for Nick, and just hoping he can stay injury free.
