He always fucking murders freestyles. This dude is a real artist, and sadly a lot of this country won't fuck with that. Again, the people who make it big, convince the white community that they're good. If 77% of our country is white, its not rocket science that they're the target market. Los is an incredible talent and he has a few songs that are nice. But he just isn't that kind of artist. Maybe he can find a new avenue to enter the game but dude is also 33, and getting shelved and all that bs would get to anybody. If you ask people about white rappers I doubt most would get past Eminem; there's not many popular mainstream. Nicki minaj, Lil wayne, B.o.b are just a few of many rappers who are shit imo but they're black, so why are they propelled upwards over far superior artists like Los and I'm sure many other more deserving artists both white and black. The problem is people don't recognise talent, the majority are stupid (harsh, but I don't know how else to put it) and are happy to have all the manufactured pop hits constantly blasted at them by the likes of Katy Perry, kesha, Nicki minaj etc I admit they're catchy and I like some of them but the majority love them and so the pop industry continues to churn out new stars and support artists who they think they can mould to fit their intentions and make them rich. I stumbled across Doomtree and haven't looked back since discovering rap/hip hop beyond the shitty majority of mainstream stuff. Have since discovered Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Grieves, Los, Lecare, Childish Gambino, among many others. Los especially has blown me away his rap over Pound Cake is insane, the amount of wordplay and intelligence in there is just mind blowing, nothing like the impression mainstream gives the general public of rappers being unintelligent thugs, the lil jons, lil waynes, lil boosies, etc etc all contribute to the problem and stop the real people who should be at the top like Los. He's been going after this for a long time though, his determination is real I'm sure he can break through.

SexyStreetStyle I agree 1,000% (I know its only 100%) with what you are saying. Rolls Royce Interior is also another song that to me, could be a radio hit for Los in particular. But I disagree with Lil Wayne out of the people you mentioned. Dude has radio hits for days but before Carter 3, his Dedication albums have so many underrated bangers on them that can contest with your "unintelligent thug" description. That's my point on the MAJORITY. Country music stars have twice if not three times larger fan bases than some of the biggest stars in the rap industry. Nascar is somehow one of the top sports in this country. Why....because of the following that is behind these organizations and genres. People of all races have the ability to recognize talent, but what makes main-stream music is the beat-bop bs. Like I said, I think you are on point with most of what you are saying but the statistics in other categories of our society prove my point. I also appreciate that you were able to use proper grammar and great tone while discussing this matter. It's hard to discuss race issues with these qualities present. His determination and growing fan base will propel him to new heights. I saw a big enough upgrade with "war" alone to prove that statement. I have faith in him, we all do. But the White populous has to find his creativity and talent unique just like we do. I am lyrical guy, so Nas, Isaiah Rashad, Jay Z's old stuff, and many more are on constant repeat in my establishment when the game is slacking. Snoop is great example of a great rapper and free-styler who was able to connect with multiple races and still sell-out at the same time. It's all politics and knowing the right connections and timing that makes these artists the 100,000,000+ viewed artists on KZbin. Sorry for the paragraphs of paragraphs but you made some good points and it's only proper to respond with appropriate answers. Lil boosie, that dude is clown hahaha. But I know some homies in the south who love that dude cause they he talks about their culture. So that's another example of culture grown popularity. Big KRIT is another dude who I think deserves the upgrade but he doesn't have the sound that the "country" would fuck with..... politics politics politics.
