Makanaki and Eniola teaming up makes sense. They are both smart, ambitious and wicked. I think they both came to an understanding of getting their needs met. Very thoughtful twist ending in my opinion. And the shootout scene with young and older Eniola was bam! Season 2 loading

Why is everyone so confused by this last episode I feel like that was the best one. If you were listening to eniola’s speech before they offer everyone she said you don’t get this far without knowing your enemies every move. He was never working for the other side he was simply getting information on what they were planning on doing and reporting back to his king. And Maka teaming up with her also makes sense because why not? Who else would she have given the throne to? Everyone at the table betrayed her at the very least Maka made his intentions be known SINCE THE MOVIE; nigga even survived HEADSHOTS for that seat 😂 you can’t do anything but respect it at some point… she realized that she could no longer be the king of boys And governor so she gave it to the only person that’s been up front with her instead of being fake. As far as aare he obviously felt threatened that Emilia was able to visit him in the cell so he faked having heart conditions to move to the hospital. The owner of the hospital and aare’s right hand signed off on it. As far as her infiltrating the hospital… there are people in AMERICA who FAKE JOBSSSS like full shifts for months/years at a hospital. For one moment at 3:30 am? I don’t think I have to even finish that one… Idk maybe I’m just an over thinker so I immediately understood.

I personally like works that allow you to keep thinking logically or making connections, rather than waste screen time on some unnecessary explanation. If you watch the series again, you will pick up clues and it would make sense.. Last 3 episodes were my all time Favs...I think Kemi Adetiba did a good job with it them.

It wasn't that far fetched tbh...watch it again and pay attention to some scenes. 1. Aare called the president to join forces to bring down Eniola..he didn't agree to that. So that in itself already explains how all that. The president aide was in that press release scene. 2. The last 3 episodes were my best...the first three was quite a bore especially episode 4. 3. I don't think everything needs to be explained in detail in a series...it becomes too much shalaye and boring...they need to leave space for people's imagination and interpretation. That's what gets you thinking. 4. Makanaki and Eniola coming together can be on a grounds of taking Odudubariba out..doesn't necessarily mean they all goody goody.. We all knew Maka always wanted the throne and Alhaja would rather give him than those other ones. Plus the shoot out scene already left room for us to interpret or connect her and Maka's meetup.

For me I think you need to rewatch this episode from a general point of view and not a reviewer’s point, that way you would see clearly that all of these questions were answered. It seemed to me like you were noting the points while watching and as such, you kinda missed out on some of these things. 1. In episode 1, Ade tiger mentioned to Alhaja that he wanted to have a conversation with her before Agnes walks in. He must have had that conversation, confessing to Alhaja how he unknowingly worked for Aare while she was away and how they’re now blackmailing him and surely Alhaja asked that he plays along. So basically, Alhaja was playing along with the whole “boxer” thing. Ade tiger’s confession was part of the plan cooked up by Alhaja and Ade tiger. It was Alhaja salami and her crew (powers from above) that paid Dapo’s boss to betray him. Ade tiger pretending to betray Alhaja at the table was also part of the plan, if not, they would have attacked her first and her plan would have failed. Giving the enemy a semblance of surrender, allowed them to drop their guard, making them think they were ahead of the game. 2. The scene where makanaki and his boys attacked the “king pin” was very plausible too because makanaki wasn’t working alone, he was working with Alhaja’s boys and given that Odudubariba and his team believed they had everything under control, they were actually unprepared for the outcome, by the time they realized what was happening, it was too late.

They didn’t show us how Eniola managed to escape from Makanaki’s ambush and the car bomb. That must have been when they came to an agreement that led to them ultimately working together. I guess the twist at the end had the effect that they were going for cos they have us all analyzing and talking about it. Kinda like the effect that Tyler Perry’s Acrimony had on us. I mean, they kept showing the length to which Makanaki was willing to go to make sure that he destroyed Eniola and all of a sudden they turned around to show that they decided to work together... I think they’d give more answers in Season 2 sha. All in all, the series was quite enjoyable. The scripts and storyline could definitely be better but the cast were phenomenal! Their acting was just great. Kemi Adetiba really set the bar!

Alot of logical thinking was required fot this move u have clearly listen to the words rather than actions. I love what they did no screen time wasting almost all the scenes had a reason and above all it surpassed the previous king of boys 1. And money was spent well. I enjoy the movie and my favourite was Ade tiger..

I think you need to watch Episodes 6&7 again and maybe you’ll get it better. Ade Tiger was always for Alhaja and I think we saw that in ep 7 after the shootout. Alhaja blamed Aare for killing her kids not Maka because she specifically told him that in the last episode saying she would kill his children like he did hers and that’s understandable because Maka and his boys were just agents sent by Aare. Maka and Alhaja came together to beat their common enemy which was Oduba and the elders and I can understand why they would come together. It def needs a rewatch to fully get it. Ep 2 and 3 were the unnecessary parts really, we could have gotten more info in those episodes instead.

#KOB2 is a dream. Alhaja Eniola Salami was sighted yesterday at her beer parlour in Peckham London. #KOB2 was her dream, she woke up to reality with someone complaining that his beer wasn't cold enough. Kemi Adetiba just sold us a dream, reason why so many things happen just the way it would happen in a dream. Spoiler for the next season- featuring Dino Melaye ,as Makanaki has denied impregnating Sword Girl. Who don it.

I agree with the poor execution of the Eniola-Makanaki scene because they spent a lot of time showing us how both parties hate each other. I believe that they should have shown when that meeting to join forces took place as it was a pivotal part of the whole plot. When i also finished watching, I was quite perplexed and went on Twitter to look for answers. Never found and so I was waiting for you to review and I am glad that you had similar questions lol.

Job very well done Tito. I feel you should watch the series again, the writer didn't explain some things which makes it feel like anyone can just try to figure out any thing they think could be the reason for one thing or another. For me Eniola and Makanaki coming together shows how enemies can become friends to accommodate one another or to help each other for future purpose. Another thing I felt was maybe Makanaki could have thought that since whatever happened between Eniola and himself was tit for tat then they should bury the hatchet for benefits to another. Because I mean Makanaki was one of those instrumental directly and in the death of her daughter and indirectly in the death of her Son. A lot of Yoruba culture vices came to play in that role too

Wow from your review sorry but I wonder whether you do watch mafia and gangster movies really ..! Cos it was good the 7th was epic .. talking of Ade man you should have realized his story give away to the journalist was nothing .. he did not say anything that people did not already suspect and to show his scar was to remove doubts from the journalists head which is expected … remember when the Oba asked him to eat from the spoken and unspoken communication you should have deduced that he will forever be indebted to her and also as the closest to family to the oba he stands to gain more than loose if he remains faithful till the end ..

Aare's switch from prison to hospital was very clear. His PA said the owner of the hospital was his friend so they faked a heart condition cos he felt unsafe at the prison. Regarding the publisher, there's no need to explicitly say who paid him off. It's obvious the President would because Eniola is now a candidate in his party.
