Most epicfest Ubers are better so spinning on epicfest is the better option but if you already have most epicfest Ubers yeah go for phonoa

your methodology for point 4 is literally just "I personally like phonoa more, so he gets a point" what you should have considered is the banners themselves, uberfest units are on average worse than epicfest units, so rolling epicfest for d.phono runs the possibility of getting other, better units (dasli, sgao, dmitama, dgaru, d'arkt, are all better than their uberfest counterparts, even if we ignore dphono)

You should try a mod called the mission to save the Gwa It has custom enemies, most units are modified to not suck ass or to have a completely different role and there is a custom story with SoL and UL being entirely different things

Ngl, KD phonoa (KD = King of doom) phonoa is worse, cant outrange superbackliners, low range and less traited dps and a sad uptime on his slow. I guess he can crowd control better tho, and he can be used more safely in UL. Phonoa defintely sweeps, tho. Anyways, nice vid as usual, dapy dap !

Normal phono can affected by curse, has over 10000 less health(at level 30) than dphono, and also doesn't target traitless. Dphono serves as a dps and a cc unit, which isnt really that common across ubers. Dphono is more valuable in this meta where being able to take on multiple roles to save slots in your lineup is much better. Just look at 7's perfect lineup video, where dphono replaces 2/3 units if i remember correctly.

It’s so sad that phono has a slightly longer attack animation or cooldown so i can’t have perfectly synced dual phonos to do massive damage and slow when the boss wave happens

Objectively they are both the same this is why the debate is still on the table the reason phonoa won is because the winner was just your opinion I would have backed you up if I didn't recently get d phono and realized how truly good he was I also don't agree with you saying phonoa has more d phono should have gotten that one since he works in a range of stages he targets all traited enemies traitless enemies and metal enemies which gives him more usage. @Blank96405 The thing is, they're not objectively the same. Also the point system doesn't work because different aspects deserve different point values. Most people would agree that phonoa wins because his offence is SO much higher that it just sweeps. Like you can finish so many stages so much faster with phonoa because he just deletes things. I have used DPhono much more, and he is definitely better in some circumstances, and is probably better in most long duration stages, but phonoa is too much of a powerhouse.

People are making it seem like there is a world of difference in how good both units are. It’s very close. I personally believe dphono is better only because phono has a very replaceable niche and you can slot in Amaterasu instead although she isn’t a superbackliner
