Tough to learn when the chord diagrams are all for the basic open chords. It would be far more helpful if the lower right showed what was actually being played.

Would take significantly more editing though. That's quite a lot of additional work when already a lot is put in to giving us these for free :) Better to use the rough fretboard position as a guide and then develop your ear to pick it out yourself. That way you also develop as a guitarist. Can go a step further: pick it out by ear from the original recording, then check back here to see what you might have missed.

What’s that you’re playing at 0:43? I can’t tell

That's a D5 power chord, 7th fret on G string, which is the root note D, and 10th fret on B string, which is the perfect fifth, A note. He just strum both string for 4 beats in the beginning with the speed of 8th note. Then pick the G string and B string constantly one after another for another 4 beats length with the picking speed of 8th note and pick the G string again and let it ring.
