+FeraligatrMusic Thanks for making this song! I was searching for a cool remix when in the planning stages for this video. Everything I found was pretty garbage. They were all bland, uninteresting metal-y remixes with no soul, and no variation. I searched for like 2 hours for something good, and I came across your song. I fell in love with it after hearing it the first couple of times. No joke, I played it 20 times in a row when I found it. It's so good! I love how interesting it is, and how you're not afraid to deviate a bit from the main melody. You have an excellent sense of pacing, and the ebbs and flows in the energy of the song are the mark of musical master. Seriously, I've listened to basically every song on your channel, and they're all really good. Sorry for not asking for permission to use it, but I was too scared that you might say "no". lol If I made another compilation similar to this video, would it be okay if I used another one of your songs? :D

Awesome video! I love how Bowser is surprisingly good at edgeguarding. I noticed that there are fewer command grab strings in this video - is that because of the patch, or you just wanted this video to be more different

***** The patch lowered the angle that people are sent at when you grab them, so it's harder (impossible) to link it if the person is playing well. Also, I just happened to not get any clips that had more than 2, and ended in a cool way. I think the next video should have at least one with 3 Koopa Klaws in it. Thanks for commenting

Ya know, I had my doubts with 3.6 Bowser after reading all the patch notes. Watching this motivate me to pick up our Koopa King once again. Pfff patch notes are for nerds anyways.

Mr.Salty Your doubts were correct, unfortunately. Bowser isn't bad if your opponents don't know how to DI Bowser's moves. It's the general consensus that 3.6b Bowser is pretty much useless if your opponent knows how to escape your combos. So depending on the skill/knowledge level of your opponents, Bowser is pretty terrible competitively. For example, in every clip in this video, nobody held away (proper DI) to escape my side B. Bowser literally can't follow up with any move if the opponent DIs correctly (usually holding left or right) when I use side B. If you like the character though, then by all means, use him, as long as you're having fun! It's cool to hear that I motivated you, though. Thanks for sharing.

+Bynine B I think a lot of my points that I made in my reddit comment (check video description) still hold true. Bowser's combo game is very lacking, and he is still completely reliant on edgeguarding to get most of his kills. As for the changes to 3.6f, I think all of them were for the better. Flame cancel seemed kinda dumb in previous versions, so I'm actually glad it was changed to something more intuitive, even though it's not as good of a move. The new down throw is really cool, although it's difficult to land. I suspect it will be seen pretty rarely in tournament play, but having it as an option is really nice. Every other change to 3.6f was basically making Bowser more like he was in 3.5 (more power), which is cool. A couple of the changes on my wishlist were added (stronger Uair, rebuffed fsmash, some sort of spike), which makes me pretty happy. Overall, I'm having more fun with the character than I did in 3.6b. However, I still think he is one of the worst characters in the game. He's just not _definitely_ the worst anymore. The changes made to him hardly expand his combo game, and he still has a difficult time approaching. He needs more/better tools, or he needs to be reworked mechanically a bit in order to do well, imo. Small frame data changes won't cut it, I think. Keep in mind though that bottom tier in PM is like lower A/upper B tier in Melee, because PM is pretty balanced. Bottom tier is still pretty functional, and capable of winning, but has a difficult time against better characters.

Honestly, I think the editing detracted from the video a bit, especially in some of the transitions between clips. I dunno; it just seemed a bit hard to follow in places. The actual clips were great though.

Kasran Fox To be honest, there are no transitions between clips. They are all hard cuts to the next clip. Perhaps the lingering death scream is what's confusing you. When I KOed a character, I had their death scream carry over into the next clip. (on most of them). A lot of other people seem to like it though. I really appreciate the feedback. Is there something specific about the editing that bothered you, or was it the KO sounds?

Sheecacaa3 Well- the screen wave and big Bowser overlay at 1:06 comes to mind; it sorta feels like it's distracting from the action that's supposed to be the main purpose of the video. Same with 1:10, where you cut straight into zooming out from ZSS's percentage - I get what you were doing ("holy shit how low of a percent did he kill that ZSS at?") but it feels jarring. Just my opinion! I don't know shit about video editing, so sorry if I couldn't get my point across too well.

Respect, your bowser is sick, but most of these aren't combo's, they're reads. I like your bowser a lot, he looks pretty technical for a bowser player. Bowser is awful this patch but you make him look pretty nice.

JFyst You're right. A couple of the clips in here are 'just' reads, and most of the clips in here aren't "true" combos. I couldn't think of a better way to categorize the video that made sense other than "combo video". I was thinking about "compilation" but it didn't seem like people would be as attracted to that as they would a combo video. I apologize for any confusion. Thanks for the kind words though. Bowser gets eaten up in this version pretty hard. He's almost unplayable now. It's quite sad. I wouldn't mind him being bad if he was fun to play as. I really preferred his previous iterations where you were rewarded heavily for getting hard reads.
