I loved watching you guys run this year. Anytime a Samurai came to the Start/Finish line, everyone would cheer.

It's amazing how these 1.3s just keep spinning... I have 1 thing I do that produced gains more than any single carb or header mod etc.... since these things weigh very little, and don't produce steel twisting torque, i figured I dont need the same hypoid honey thick gear oil in the axles, trans & t-case... running synthetic amsoil or redline atf mixed with there street bike oil, or some other combos, , the lil samurai felt like it had a new motor, LOL.. the cruise speed jumped up big time, 30" mt tires oem gears & i use 5th at 70+ mph on flat. The idle rpm used to drop about 300 rpm when dump the clutch in neutral before going back up once the honey started stirring. Now it maybe slows 50 rpm when letting it out in neutral for a fraction as long. I've taken it on 250 mile highway drives over the cascade mountains, never had a issue... I honestly hope I hear about someone trying this , and the gains made a measurable difference in competition.. one thing the samurai driver has over everyone else win or loose, is the smile and laughter the samurais give you. Samurai, the funnest 50 HP in the world...
