I had both Ben and his dad as lecturers when I went to chess camp as a youngin' back in 1999. Ron was a great teacher too and I still remember him showing us his game with Fischer (and then driving my mom nuts saying my new word, "zugzwang," the whole drive home). Ben also gave me about 100 raffle tickets for getting a Simpsons quote exactly right.

For us normal players Kf7 seems obvious. However, it goes against many GM principles like blocking the advanced pawn. Its one of those rare instances where ignorance is good.
