KING'S DAY SF Koningsdag April 29 '23 Golden Gate Park

Koningsdag, or KING'S DAY, is a worldwide celebration among the Dutch. Held toward the close of April each year, it was held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on the 29th. Among its draws: 1) A bicycle ride thru the park, and 2) food (poffertjes, bitterballen, kroketten) and Dutch music. Having lived in the Netherlands for 5 years as a youngster, it was fun to partake in the festivities!
