it's already been determined that fishers defence is great but doesn't necessarily refute the gambit . same with faulkner counter gambit. but what about bishop to e7 after accepting ? this simple move seems to create a huge threat to white that spoils all attacking potential

Bc4 and if he checks then Kf1. Black has no threats and his bishop is misplaced
