I noticed something on King's "voice set". King I and AK I had the same sfx in Tekken 1 and 2, but King II has different jaguar sounds than the OGs, he retained that sfx from Tekken 3 until Tekken 5. Armor King I appeared in Tag 1 and still has his voice set from Tekken 1 and 2 Both King II and AK II share the same voice set on every game, just like their predecessors

A tip, from a King player. Actually, the chain throws are not too hard to break. Throw in the vid is basically trash, because you can always break the second throw with 1 button. With his f,n,d,d/f 1+4 and 2+3 throws a.k.a. the Standing heel hold and the Arm breaker, AKA the Back breaker and the Rolling death cradle, you need to mash 1+2 and the most damaging version will be breaked. (with Death cradle, first throw after the Arm breaker (Chicken wing) is broken with 1+2, and the Death cradle itself is broken with 2) And when before the chain throw King performs the spinning step, he can decide how you need to broke every throw, either with 1 or 2. So I just mash 1 or 2 t'ill the end. Don't be cheese'd by this, just go to training mode and learn the animations of the initial throws. After throw in the vid (D/F 1+3) mash 1 After f,n,d,d/f 1+4 or 2+3 mash 1+2 After spinning step throw mash either 1 or 2 And he have another multi throw, called Revese special stretch bomb (D/F 2+4) But here to break the most damaging version just mash 2 Most of King's are just lazy and won't learn every his throw, so they will always just do the most damaging version. Or they will just mash 1+2+3+4. Warning: if they just mash, the follow-up's after initial chain throws will probably be breakable with 1. So if King player looks like they mash, you need to mash 1. If they looks smart try to use instructions. Of cousre, if they really smart, or just Tekken nerds (like me), you need to know every chain throw, because they will mix it up. Sorry for my bad English, I'm Russian. Just hopes that it will help someone :3

The presentation found throughout this video is perfect. You show the move's 100% damage from its beginnings, then, with games where the damage was nerfed, show the move from full health and again while the opponent is at reduced health, the amount of health that the move does in terms of total damage, where the enemies health needs to be to pull the move as more a coup de grace than anything. Very nice.

Interesting how the camera movement changed. It went from the static to very dyanamic ( T4 and T5) to much less dynamic in the rest of the entries

I was a bit late in playing the series, but I had a lot of fun with Tekken 3 and king was one of the mains I picked up.

I remember the disappointment I felt when I realized (or more importantly, when my housemates realized) they could get out of the combo string with a button combination to counter. 😮‍💨 This vid brought back memories from over 20years ago

It's actually trally imptessive how far the graphics came from Tekken 1 to Tekken 3 on the same hardware.

There simply isn't enough processing power to perfectly fix clipping in real time rendering. Clipping is a small sacrifice to make for 60 frames per second in a fighting game
