I have said it myself and it's repeated constantly that King's X is underrated and under appreciated. After watching this video the question is, is it the quantity of fans or the quality of fans"? I think that King's X should be funded by go fund me. And, I think they are appreciated, by the right number of true fans. I love King's X and anyone who supports them. They brought me through my teen years in a very strict religious home. That same home allowed me to buy their albums because they were in Christian bookstores. Doug, Ty, Jerry, thanks so much for the music, lyrics and originality that forms King's X.

I love this version. What stumps me totally, and makes me totally flabbergasted is that the audience is actually - when the chorus comes - sings in harmonies. Not all, but you can detect them underneath, and they keep the harmony. This is a first for me, with any rock audience singing. The verses are straight melodies though. But then when the "I....." comes, and especially the second time around.

@notabillyjoelfan2 жыл бұрын
@@dw89music73 I think their music was commercial enough. They had an image problem. Boys didn't see their videos and think they were cool or tough. Girls weren't hanging up Jerry, Dug, and Ty posters next to their Kip Winger and Bret Michaels . That was important in the late 80s when MTV was everything. And then when Grunge happened, and they looked like they were trying too hard to look the part. Their albums between 88 and 96 were all fantastic though.
