Finally got through it in 4 sittings, you do meander, but got where you were going in the end, which is commendable considering you had no script. Been with the band since Gretchen. Summerland got me hooked. Got the band logo tattoo. Pretty much agree with all you said. Think OOTSP production values date it. I got Tales From The Empire live bootleg for that stuff. FHL was too poppyBeatlesesque for my tastes at the time, though it has grown on me over time. Ditto ear candy which I probably listen to the most these days. Loved the st album & Dogman was a high point which was probably why Ear Candy disappointed at the time. Tape head is a favourite top 3 IMHO WHMB is 50% good & 50%WTF Manic Moonlight 90%WTF Rate BLS higher than most KX fans I'm still getting to like Ogre Tones XV was the return to form for me. Still on the last album. Glad you mentioned Live Love in London. Got to be first port of call for a newbie.

My favourite band... Doug/dUg was 38 the year Out Of The Silent Planet, their first proper album, was released. I've been a fan since then... I was 14.

I certainly have... Getting every album as it came out... I do agree that not song has been amazing but neither was every Beatles song and King's X are my Beatles.

@@sedgeseymour9208 I wouldn't argue with that. What are your favourite side project/solo albums related to the band?

@@nightmarecabin8933I would absolutely say that the first KXM album is absolutely amazing. Love dUg's solo albums and all the individual members' ones and side projects... But that first KXM is something really special... Especially when you read about the writing/recording process... Enjoy discovering that!
