This video truly sheds light on the emotional story of King Saul, who was once chosen by God but was eventually rejected. Saul started with a noble mission, anointed by the prophet Samuel, but his pride and disobedience to God's command led to his downfall. Saul's story reminds us of the importance of loyalty to God and humility. As it says in 1 Samuel 15:22, ‘To obey is better than sacrifice,’ a lesson Saul failed to grasp. Thank you for the video, which inspires deep reflection on faith and obedience in each person's life.

Saul's story is a dire warning about the dangers of pride and insecurity. His insecurity led him to commit acts he may have not done otherwise, and his pride prevented him from being able to admit when he was wrong, and it eventually cost him not only everything he had, but also brought tragedy to his family. Did Saul mean to cause such harm on his family, his children? More than likely not, as even bad men often love their children and take pride in the latters' accomplishments, as if the latter's were their own. But Saul's actions, motivated by insecurity and pride, led to not only his downfall, but also ennacted severe and unintended consequences for his sons. That said, David's reaction throughout being a fugitive from Saul is remarkable. He had two chances where he could've gotten revenge, but chose to abstain trusting that God would rectify the injustice done toward him, which God did, and thus David became probably the greatest King that ancient Israel had ever known. Interestingly, both Moses, Israel's greatest prophet, and David, arguably Israel's greatest King, were not only shepherds, but also led the nation of Israel for 40 years.

I haven't read the scriptures much about this one, and no one preached about Saul attempting to attack the priests. I didn't know that. He was an angry King, and King David's time in the cave, I heard that. Grace is sufficient.

That witch, sevant of Satan, was not allowed to bring back Samuel, GOD'S servant. Satan impersonated Samuel, and goaded Saul into despair, which is what he does to humans ! Saul cut off all channels, David the anointed, the priest at Nob, and Samuel when he was alive, Saul did not listen to him.

Correction, Saul was not chosen by God, but by the people😊

Saul was chosen as king of Israel by God. According to the Bible, the prophet Samuel was instructed by God to anoint Saul as the first king of Israel. This took place after the Israelites demanded a king to lead them, like other nations. Samuel anointed Saul privately, and later Saul was publicly chosen by lot before the people to confirm God's selection. This story is found in the books of 1 Samuel 8-10.
