I've found a lot them in east Texas before. But almost always on protected land. Never even tried to collect any. But they are very cool.

Awesome! I have a very small regia at home but I'm still not 100% sure on its care needs! I'm in the UK and currently growing it under grow lights in my house as its winter here, but should I actually pop it outside for dormancy? Its by far my favourite drosera species

how cold does it get there? I didn't know the plant went dormant - I have had mine for about 3 years now growing under lights and I don't want to kill it because I know a lot of plants that are suppose to go dormant will die after a while if they don't get the rest period.
