Lil Durk brought out something in Von that Von himself aint even know he had until he tried it and honestly just in those short 2 or 3 years of him rapping he truly was already on his way to being one of the greatest i promise you that. His energy and his lyrics were felt on such a higher level. Thank you to sound frequencies we can truly feel his pain and his anger and his experiences when he raps. stl and oblock are very small factions, they aren't major staples like crips and bloods, they are just two very smalls sets out of the hundreds of sets in chicago. Chicago has 4 different sides, the west side where it's very much organized gang activity, the south side (where oblock and stl are) where nobody respect and its really every man for themself even if they part of a set, and nobody cares about formal gangties (bd,gd,vl,mc), then east side a lil bit of structure but still mostly everyone for themself and the far southside is the same, Then there is the north side where most of the white folks in the city live, but they also got very violent parts, I don't know much about up north. But contrary to popular belief the west side is the most dangerous part of Chicago(up north used to be till it was gentrified), not like the southside like von and duck be rapping, and though the west side be killing over money alot of times, it also be crackin with a ton of personal beefs too. The population of the city lowers the crime rate on paper and makes it seem safer then it actually it, but the violence be happening in very concentrated areas, like the austin neighborhood my homie is from have 90 murders and 80k population. But yeah its a little bit of info on our city, RIP Kingvon he was a real one, It's sad to see this happen to him. My homie was used to hang out with von and was even locked up with him, and was telling me von used to be whoopin ass in the county😂 and he used to really take care of mfs on his block, buying traps and passing out cash, etc, he was a real bout that shit and was a real one. Its sad, cuz like von knew he was gon die soon, because I had him added on facebook and he was making very depressing statuses on his timeline it was like he knew his time was coming, I ain't never to get to meet, but it's like I met him through my homie.
