They need a overhaul of depth chart. Most defenses really move their strong side line backer around. They should follow the te. And swap with the weak side contain guy. I wish there was a way in Madden to do this

I actually think there is I think the linebacker in a 46 bear if you flip defense he switches sides but something I'd have to lab. But I like to have a guy on the te on the edge and double man him and chuck him with that linebacker and then manually blitz against CPU if they have a good te

Does anyone realize that in Madden it's backwards. I mean you don't ever really get pressured to much from the left side. Your pressure usually comes off of your right tackle. I put my prototypical left tackle at right tackle. Idk if that's due to usual play with a right handed QB rolling right for the most part. Also think it could be that the defense is backwards on Madden and has been for awhile. Your speedy edge guys are usually lined up at lolb up against the rt. And power are lined up against the Lt. Also corners are swapped your number 1 is guarding the number 2 wr so should swap your corners 1 should be 2 guy and 2 should be your shutdown in the depth chart

I typically get the most pressure against my left side of the line, but I also tend to sit in the pocket

@@JacobReid you always have good tips. Definitely going to start using some of these though. Started a Titans franchise and trying to get Skoronski to be my cornerstone so have been needing oline gems.

@@JacobReid my strategy has kind of changed a lot with the implementation of coaching trees. Where you can get a plus 3 to awareness strength finesse or power I kind of been looking in the draft to build with guys that are A in pass block run block and impact. It kind of has fit the mold when you find these guys, because they do tend to lack physicals or will be a c in power/finesse. Also I see a lot of people put emphasis on injury rates. I've saw a f come out to be a 86 with I think it's plus 4 you get that to a 90 so I don't really pass on a guy because of injury rates unless paired with a bad stamina rate. But prior maddens for some reason you couldn't really upgrade pass or run block it was sort of set over a 5 year period I think I got a plus 1 to both last year

Honestly you him bro when it come to this I remember watching vid on madden 23 on CB and you said agility speed change of direction matter so on cowboys I put kelvin Joseph on slot 2 cb with Diggs slot 1 and bro it's crazy how he keeping up with top wr with a low ovr in this was reg comp

I have an user opponent in cfm who has an over powered quinnen williams. I have a seemingly perfect o line and cannot stop him. I double williams and it always leads to the edge getting in untouched. How do you double an interior whilst still covering an edge rusher

In my opinion, your best bet is doubling the edge player, and just rolling away from the interior guy. Most DT’s are not fast enough to get near your QB if you just actively stay away from them

@@Taildog That would be nice to know, but honestly idk if any ratings actually affect that. I'm willing to bet it's just the way RPOs are programmed. But I would like to test that, it could be awareness, penalty, or maybe even if they have the "High Motor" trait they keep going during the play to block someone else and that's what could be causing it. Do you know a specific RPO off hand that often calls ineligible receiver when you pass? I'd like to test it but I haven't ran into one this game yet but definitely had a few of them in Madden 23

Bullshit, x factor DTs and 3-4 DEs get the worst pass rush to deal with in the game and if they got abilities against the run also they can literally shut down the offense by themselves, worse than edge rushers can come close to... unlike on the edge x factor interior lineman splits way too many double teams regardless of the ratings of the 2 olinemen. Commanders DT jonathan allen is the player in the game that make my offense near impossible to even do anything more than any other x factor in the game

More for G and T but somewhat effects all blockers ability to locate the correct player to block

This has nothing to do with the vid but would u happen to know why when I play solo franchise all madden simulation, holding penalties literally never get called. I use the default sliders by the way

Just bad programming by the devs. You have to turn the penalties way up to see any
