Wolfe is so right with strategy. Even if you try to be the nice player and spread the hooks around they will still t bag you. Plus, I find, once you start tunneling one player out, the other survivors lose their mind and lose the game.

@@fluttershy9206 Because it then opens the hatch for the survivor that’s hiding.. if she didn’t dc the other survivor would have been found and died without the killer worrying about her getting a hatch escape. Although maybe the correct wording wasn’t used

Nah bro. Deathslinger is secretly OP, most people underestimate him. The build I use is STBFL, deadlock, scourge hook pain resonance (I think), and No way out. The addons are the wardens key and the cigar for cooldowns on breaking the chain and faster reload. But then again I do main him so I use him very effectively. Regardless loved the video bro.

Can happen sometimes since the game recognizes an injured survivor to go down after a hit, mainly after the unhook animation, like it was before BT wasn't base kit. So basically what happens is that the animation glitches, but the survivor actually darts off from your hit, so you need to be extra cautious not to lose them from your sight. Hope it helps.

Wow even tunnels strategically and 4 slow down perks with slugs and super altruism they still got Three gens quick. I have to admit that playstlyle is absolutely necessary in today DBD which is unfortunate but how it has to be. Is eruption still worth it? GG waiting on second game.

For now Eruption is worth it until they nerf in the coming update with the new chapter. Too many people complained about it and it's getting a nerf.

It does keep its 10% total regression but instead of the incapacitated they give aura reading like pain resonance had. Which is kinda useless because when you down someone you dont go to the far back gen you just kicked, so its still a nerf. Just not so overnerfed, i can actually see eruption still being viable with other gen kick perks.

I personally use SBFL, Face the Darkness, Lethal Pursuer, and some form of anti-heal or injury-themed perk like Hysteria. Where it lacks in slowdown it makes up for in information and pressure. I think Lethal is AMAZING with slinger, especially when it’s paired with FtD. Survs can’t hide from Clint Weastwood

Save the best for last is one of my favorite perks for deathslinger because you can hit someone, then shoot them immediately after and kill them very quickly. But other than that needs all gen perks to work well. Side note: LOL the group that dc just so they could get the hatch in main with a key also was golden. They deserved that death.

Another thing, when a survivor is coming off a hook. You can shoot them within a 5-6 second window. Wait till the reel is almost over (wait out the immune effect), then hit them and they’ll go down.

I didn’t play Killer until Deathslinger came out when his original terror radius was 24 meters. The reason his terror radius got nerfed back to the regular 32 or whatever is because ppl were running Monitor & Abuse & literally snatching survivors off gens lol I was wining games easy. The problems tho they never buffed his movement speed when they nerfed his terror radius. I only play him & Knight unless I’m doing challenges.

I run Thrilling, Deadman's, Pain res and either Jolt or Franklin's depending on if it's a lobby full of flashlights tool boxes or med kits. Normally run both reload speed add-ons

Crazy, I just started playing deathslinger and realized after like 5-6 games that people start popping gens real quick. Most shots matter, if you miss to much that’s game💀but keep up the content. I’d love a spirit video! I wanna try her but ain’t confident.

spirit is way easyer to play than deathslinger I'd say. Even if you dont use her power for mindgames you still can traverse the map with it, which is alredy a strong kit. Deathslinger though, as you said, you need to practice shots because he is only an M1 without his speargun.

Love the videos man, you're the only youtuber ready to play to win, and not to give joy to petty survivor mains. I think that you should try Pinhead with the Deep Pain addon (it causes deep wounds if you hit a survivor with a chain). You would be able to instantly remove Off The Record from a survivor and instantly kill them once they're off the hook. Imagine the survivor salt :)

As deathslinger if a survivor just got off hook you can still shoot them and reel them close and wait for the timer to expire. Then put them back on the damn hook

As a slinger main i tip my hat to you one legend to another.I will leave my two cents on how i play maybe i can help some people Cigar + Wardens key for addons. You actually recover faster from a chain break with the cigar equipped than a basic attack, keep in mind that you can't down an injured survivor by breaking the chain but you can injure them, and wardens key are straight forward less reload time helps you not only shoot again faster but also you don't waste as much time moving slow while reloading. Perks : Deadlock , call of brine, corrupt and either jolt or scourge hook pain resonance, fun perks that are still a bit useful if you feel like it are STBFL, starstruck and gift of pain

As for strategy what wolfe shows is what i do, i wil mention that when the match begins i imediatly look for a 3 gen and control the area so i actualy play on lets say 60%-70% of the map i am too slow to move around the map and depending on the tiles set i may not be able to end a chase very quick (aprox 20 secs from healthy to down chases are posible for deathslinger but you need great skill and an ok map).When you get comfortable with the aim try shooting through small gaps in walls and building, this is where slinger shines you can shoot in more gaps than Huntress and is easier to control than Trickster. Also my favorite thing to do is when you shoot them and reel them in you can nod your head do whatever you want with this info :D

2 Things I think the Deathslinger needs for a change. No slow down when reloading, and if he shoots you and reels you in it should be automatic down if he hits you. If he loses you in the reel your injured anyway. Why do you need to reel in and hit the survivor if no matter what they will get injured. Kinda stupid.

Just seen a video by that Trutalent guy saying how nerfing gen regression perks will force killers to "not play with skill" using tunneling and camping. I think that's a load of shit. It does take skill to tunnel someone, if you can't get them they'll run through the map or loop you and you'll be done by the time you get them. Camping I can understand cause you are standing there but you still can't call the strategies "not skilled." Try tunneling with no skill and see how you do, especially against good players. You'll get destroyed regardless. Honestly the dbd community has some weird rules and mindsets. Does my head in haha. That's why I like Wolfes stuff. All about the competition. Don't get me wrong it's great when you win without doing the strategies but consistency is rare 😁

@I-need-2-win want to know something weird, I actually find it easier to win games not tunneling because they usually genrush me if I tunnel. By the time I get one dead there's 1 gen left 🤣 You have to get them down fast when you tunnel and that requires a lot of skill especially if its a good survivor. That might be cause I play Oni and it's just my play style but I realise I win more not tunneling. Main point is tunneling does take skill, one survivor can run you round the map with your not prepared :)
