The legendary story about this Scarface verse, makes it even more incredible. He got a phone call from his wife during the studio session about his best friends son being killed. Jay said, we can reschedule the session but he said "No, just give me some time..." So a few hours later, he laid this verse explaining what just happened. Through the pain, this was therapeutic for him and a way to honor his friends son. Legendary!

The story is, when Scarface went in the studio where Jay and Beans were waiting for him, he suddenly received a call to be informed that he lost one of his friend's kids. Then the atmosphere became very sad but Scarface wanted to record the song anyway. So, he wrote a verse based on a real story. Jay and Beanie were so sad for him. Scarface really delivered on thistm track
