@@extrayul First of all, slavery under the French was not the same as slavery on the Spanish side. Yes, Haiti was the first nation to free the slaves (even though the queen of Spain had technically made slavery illegal already). Moreover, Dominicans didn't have to fight Spain to get our independence, they sort of just let us be as they had richer colonies and were going through a war. So when Dominicans told them they wanted to be independent, the Spanish were like, "Oh, OK!" A few years later, the Haitians unified the island by force! The thing is, culturally and ethnically, we were VERY different. Racism has never been a thing in the Dominican Republic. The Spanish didn't have any issues with mating with the indigenous and African slaves in the Dominican Republic. On the other hand, the French had a way harsher outlook on race and slavery. Haitians take a lot of their culture from Africa because of how segregated Haiti was. Dominicans have a lot of African heritage too. However, you guys want to pretend like we don't have a lot of Spanish and Taino heritage. That's primarily why we don't get along.

As a Black man who grew up in a Mexican neighborhood and dated countless Latinas. Mexicans are VERY racist, the Grandparents will disown their children and and grandchildren for dating marrying black people. They'll openly tell you you're not supposed to be there, it's mainly folks born in Mexico. American born Mexicans are racist as well, but it depends on where they were raised. I could say the same about black folk I'm Mexican who grew up in the south.married to a black women from the south and at first her familu wouldn't accept me only her father really accepted me . They used to go as far as calling our daughter racial slurs. So it goes both ways bud. Both I think just black men have a bad rep in most communities of not taking care of their children. My sister has 2 kids by 2 black guys and both of them don't take care of their kids. But does that mean all black men don't take care of their kids? No it's just a stereotype.

There needs to be a limit to who can say it. Not all Hispanics are of African descent. There’s even a Hispanic Hierarchy with Puerto Ricans and Dominicans considered the lowest on the pole. As for Puerto Ricans, Slavery literally birthed our race and the shackles of what it did to our African and Taino ancestors are documented clearly, creating a literal trail to Africa. Not all Hispanic races are black.
