I think with all due respect to King Deza, he is seeing and reasoning like a ordinary radio DJ, and not like a an entrepreneur/intrapeneur which is what Ntate Hlaudi is. The vision or lense through which they see things is different. That of King Deza is a very narrow lense. Even the judicial commissions of enquiry are not as gruelling as this interview. Which is not always the case, King Deza has prejudiced Ntate Hlaudi, and has extended much grace, and understanding to many other guests that may be deemed as “controversial”. It’s actually sad and difficult to watch.

There is a distinction between a policy and a meeting resolution, policy undergo process whereby a draft is made and distributed to all in the organization. The role of Hloadi cannot go unnoticed but the whole thing was done without any considerations of the law, internal process and the procedures and other prescripts. The money he received is taxable because it was it the definition of taxable income, in that it was not capital in nature, received during the year of assessment and due to him. it will not serve any purpose to argue as to who gave the directive to be paid but the fact remains that he is the recipients of the money.
