Tribal chauvanism is a real thing...unfortunately VaTsonga and VhaVenda are still experiencing this 30 years into democracy. Thanks to shows lile Giyani land of blood and Muvhango for giving the marginalised people and languages a bit of chance...minorities like AmaNdebele,Vhavenda, Vatsonga and AmaSwati have a mountain to climb in their own country for language recognition.

The struggle is of tribalism in South Africa 🇿🇦 is a big thing as Tsonga speaking person I know this things. The entertainment industry has done so little about telling our stories the system of South Africa is tribalistic.only 4languages that a recognized in South Africa 🇿🇦 Xhosa,Zulu, Sotho , English on tribalism we still have a long way as black South Africans we don’t love each other we have that spirit of looking down on each other just because of the language you feel like others a nothing. We want to take back the land but we not even united as blacks their still nations that a still look down at. Mostly Zulus and pedis a big on this tribalism thing if really we want a change South Africa to be in that level we want it be black South Africans must unite and have a common goal. Tsongas and venda people a the most powerful people in this world even if people look down on them but still have a way to succeed we develop where we come from we have powerful leadership learn from us because we preside on you like it or not we a moving in hard conditions and we prosper through them is up to a person to join or continue with the hate that their parents tout them

Dayza, what an infectious podcast. Thank you for having this man over. I never knew much if anything about him. Turns out I could relate to many things about him, having grown up Shangaan in Alexandra and gone to a boarding school in Gazankulu, including one of his alma mater, Bankuna. Thoroughly enjoyed the natural flow of the conversation, in a township manner of people my generation as a 70s person. More importantly in vernac, which liberates us. The schools he went to, Shingwedzi, Mahwahwa and of course Bankuna, wow, that brought memories of a childhood shaped for 5 years of a man I have become. Thank you to Khalanga for carrying the flag for us Vatsonga and for being true to his identity as a Mutsonga. Thanks Dayza for 2 hours plus of an authentic conversation. Trust me, you have a new subscriber. Keep up the great work boss, in the style you are using. First time watching this from start to finish, largely because the guy spoke my my language. So enjoyed your interviewing style and the research that went into it, learned so much about the guy. Great stuff!
