i love the soft storytelling of the medieval village boy who picks up his lord's sword and beats dozens of cumans by himself while riding a stolen horse, after hours of beating up and choking out villagers and animals and killing hundreds of sheep

13:40 You can actually get some pretty high level armor quite easily by going to the left to the guard tower, there should be an sleeping guard by himself in one of the beds, and If I remember correctly you can knock out all sleeping NPCs regardless of your strength.

Stealth early is hard later it's awsome but NPCs do seem to track your movements at bit eg "seeing" you near a crime and to consider what you are wearing- noble clothes vs bandit gear. Best luck I've had with pickpocket early is people engrossed in a task, then sleeping targets. Except alehouse maids. In my exp they seem to have a higher awareness. So I save that for level 6-7 plus usually 😅

I would love to see a playthrough on HC mode with all debuffs where you play with immersive realism in mind without exploiting game mechanics for stats and money and maybe some extra restrictions for the sake of realism/immersion/difficulty and no thieving as well.

Hey man, I'm wondering I've been playing this game for a decent while but i just started a all hardcore negative perks playthrough do you have any tips for it easier to stealth kill guards and civilians without lowering my reputation ?

That's a tough one - there's a mechanic in the game where crimes (even if they aren't seen) get attributed to you. Reputation does go back up over time, so maybe just spread out your bad deeds? lol Give them a little time to get over it

The only time we had armor on was during the tournaments, but not much we could do about that. Oh, also they force you to put a set on to get out of Talmberg

@@StratPlays I just replayed the Talmberg section and you don't need the armor. If you jump into the moat, the guards will chase you, but you can still get to Skalitz..

Are you getting DLC achievements too, or just base game? Getting all base game achievements is hard enough already, since you have to wait until after completing the main quest to kill anyone or sleep with the lord of Talmberg's wife.

I had armor on??? I'm allowed to use clothing, but not actual armor like chain-mail or plates. I don't recall fighting anyone in Skalitz so maybe I equipped it for a second to help with encumbrance?

Understandable - sadly the devs made all animals (except chickens) give the same XP as killing a high level fully armored opponent. So in 2s I can get the same XP with no risk as I can fighting someone who will probably kill me in a 5 minute duel :(
