Beor Eviols i think that blunt is the last problem a delivered weapon can have, you can just have it sharpened after you receive it

true, in Italy for example you need a weapon permit. But thanks to weaboos sharp katanas are now exempt from the weapon permit requirement, while indigenous swords aren't. An excellent way to piss on our own culture.

Let me add some interesting info. According to an interview with Daniel Vavra they made 323 swords (1:11:40, link below, it is in czech). Each sword should have a number in roman letters. The one they had in the interview was XLIV, or 44. What number is yours? kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmLWqoGqjruad9E

I was wondering why I got doubled notifications. Glad I watched the first video anyway, I agree with your sentiments regarding physical special editions. Virtual rewards are hollow compared to lasting physical memorabilia. The detaol on the pommel inlay on the sword is fairly impressive for a special edition sword for a game.

Not with that this tip it isn't safe for that purpose, you could grind it down and it wouldn't be much different than hitting with a blunt sword.

Great review. I agree that is a very deluxe collector edtion, but i know that sword making is very expansive. I wanted to start a collection but when i searched for good build sword and saw price tags of like 2000 dollars i was a bit hesitant to start hehe

The price range of a sword comes from the work the Smith does (if any smithing work at all..) Those $2,000 swords are most likely custom made and one-of-a-kind. Or at least limited editions. Low budget swords (still functional and good blades) are about$150 to $400 USD. High budget tends to be $500 to $1200USD. Which are quality tested and stronger materials, along with decorations sometimes. There isn't a huge glaring difference, unless you're getting something heavily decorated.. and those low budget swords are generally mass produced.

Svarte Dauden definitely not, it is probably nearing the long side for a single handed arming sword, as you can see when he holds it it sits with still a small gap between his hand and either end of the grip. These types of swords were generally held with the pommel in the heel of your hand

I have the same sword as you Medieval Review, they made two different swords, one for kickstarter and one for limited edition, only the kickstarter version have roman letters and REX+Familia+Ultio on the sword...I think.

I have a Kickstarter Sword, it has the inscription in it, didnt think to check for roman numerals before i put it back in the box. I am a bit jealous however, your sword looks much cleaner than mine. There are imperfections in the blade (I suppose since it was hand made and all) but was really surprised to see that. Is that normal in a sword? Or am i being too picky?

that explains it, since mine also has engravings (KS backer). Have to look for the numbers though. All in all, Warhorse did the best collectors edition for a game ever - hands down.

I recently purchased a sword from Arma Epona mostly based on this review but the one i received is rather disappointing. No attention what so ever was made for the construction of the blade, it's roughly forged, the crossguard is off, the pommel is crushed where it's pinned and the finish is terrible. Doesn't worth the couple hundreds i paid for it.
